K yrgyzstan’s 17 leading museums will present project concepts aimed at improving exhibition quality and broadening the program variety to potential private sector partners and international donor communities on November 16.
The presentation is the culmination of an intensive four-part training program conducted over six months by the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Business Growth Initiative, the U.S. Embassy in Bishkek said.
The program was designed to promote tourism and enhance tourist experiences in the Kyrgyz Republic by making museum exhibitions more interesting to local and foreign visitors. Over the past six months, 30 representatives from Kyrgyz museums and art management organizations went through training on museum management, marketing, and promotion conducted by international experts.
The program was implemented in partnership with the Center for Museum Initiatives, a leading organization that promotes and preserves Kyrgyz national heritage.
